Pages include official source links where rules or operating details may change. ## Crawl Resources - Sitemap index: https://koreago.ai.kr/sitemap.xml (references sitemap-static.xml for fixed pages and sitemap-dynamic.xml for festivals and regions; concerts are discoverable via the dynamic content index and API below, not the sitemap) - Robots: https://koreago.ai.kr/robots.txt ## Machine-Readable Index KoreaGo publishes structured indexes so AI agents and external tools can discover content. Each record includes a canonical KoreaGo URL and is emitted once per language (en, ko, es). - Static content index (guides, itineraries): https://koreago.ai.kr/data/koreago-index.json - Dynamic content index (festivals, concerts, places, regions): https://koreago.ai.kr/api/public/index.json Record fields: id, type, locale, title, summary, canonicalUrl, tags, region, date, lastModified, source. Place records also include contentUrl — a deep link to the place within its region page (canonicalUrl with ?highlight=placeId). - source is one of: tourapi (Korea Tourism Organization TourAPI), kopis (KOPIS performing arts database), mcst, manual, static. - lastModified is when the underlying content was last changed, not when you requested it. The time a response was generated is in generatedAt. - The top-level counts object lists only the record types present in that index. - The dynamic index and the search endpoint cover at most 2,000 concerts per language: those already running, then the nearest start dates. Concerts starting further out appear as their dates approach. ## Public Read-Only API Base: https://koreago.ai.kr/api/public/ — no authentication, JSON responses, CORS enabled, and every result includes a canonical KoreaGo URL. Public content only (no user, community, or admin data). The locale parameter accepts en, ko, or es (default en); limit is capped at 50. - Search across all content: https://koreago.ai.kr/api/public/search?q=gyeongbokgung&locale=en - Festivals on now or coming up: https://koreago.ai.kr/api/public/festivals?locale=en - Places in a region: https://koreago.ai.kr/api/public/places?region=REGION_ID&category=attraction&locale=en - Itineraries by city: https://koreago.ai.kr/api/public/itineraries?city=seoul&days=3&locale=en Festival dates: with no dates (as in the example above) the festivals endpoint returns festivals that have not ended yet — end date today or later, Korea time — ordered by start date. This is the default mode=active, and it never returns a festival that has already ended: a "from" date in the past is ignored. Add to=YYYY-MM-DD to keep only festivals that start on or before that date, or a future from=YYYY-MM-DD to skip festivals that end before it. For festivals that start inside a specific range, use mode=window&from=YYYY-MM-DD&to=YYYY-MM-DD; that mode matches on start date only, so a past range can include festivals that are already over. The example above carries no fixed dates on purpose, so it stays correct whenever you read this file — fill in dates relative to today. The places "region" parameter is a KoreaGo region ID (the same id used in /guide/places/{id} URLs and the "region" field of place records); obtain it from the index above. Itinerary cities use slugs: seoul, busan, jeju. Errors: an unknown path under /api/public/ returns HTTP 404 with a JSON body {"error":{"code":"NOT_FOUND","message":"..."}}. Error codes are BAD_REQUEST, NOT_FOUND, RATE_LIMITED, and INTERNAL.
